If you run or work at a business, LocalSpect ("LocalSpect", "we", "us") may hold a small amount of work information about you. You can ask us to delete it and keep you out of LocalSpect results. You don't need an account.
What we may hold about you
It comes from public sources, and we only look for it when a customer asks:
- your name and job title, and the business you work for;
- your public professional profile;
- work contact details, such as a business email address or phone number.
Why this counts as selling or sharing
We provide this work information to our customers, who use it to reach businesses that may need their products. Some US state privacy laws, including California's, may treat that as selling or sharing personal information. Wherever you live, you can opt out.
How to opt out
Tell us who you are and where you work, so we can find you. If you know the work email address or professional profile link we might hold, add it too.
You can also email [email protected].
What happens next
- We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you.
- We delete your data and keep only what we need to make sure you don't show up again.
- We answer within one month.
- Copies that customers exported before your request are in their own tools, and they're responsible for them. You can ask them directly.
- We won't treat you differently for opting out.
Asking for someone else
An authorized agent can send the request for you. We may ask for proof that you gave them permission.
If you have a LocalSpect account
We don't sell account holders' data, and we don't share it for cross-site advertising. To remove your account data, delete your account from your profile in the app. Our privacy policy has the full details.
